Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Gridrive, Inc. ("Gridrive," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Mozin mobile application and the gomozin.com website (together, the "Service"). Mozin helps service-business owners manage their customers, jobs, schedule, and invoices.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information you provide when you create an account, such as your name, email address, phone number, and password (passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
- Business data you enter into the app, such as your customers' names and contact details, jobs and appointments, notes, and invoices. You control this content.
- Usage and device information, such as your device model, operating system, app version, language settings, in-app interactions, and diagnostic and crash data that help us keep the Service reliable.
- Communications, such as the messages you send us when you contact support.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not store such information in free-text fields.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including syncing your data across your devices;
- authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- respond to your requests and provide customer support;
- monitor, diagnose, and fix problems, and understand how the Service is used;
- send you important service messages, and — only with your consent where required — product updates; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business data to build advertising profiles.
How we share information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers (sub-processors). We use trusted vendors to operate the Service under contracts that require them to protect your information: Supabase (database, authentication, and hosting), Stripe (payment processing — subscription billing and, for businesses that enable customer payments, payment collection and payouts via Stripe Connect), Sentry (crash and error diagnostics), and PostHog (product analytics). Our website is hosted on Vercel, which also provides privacy-friendly, cookieless traffic analytics. Payment card details are entered directly with and stored by Stripe; Gridrive never stores your full card number.
- App stores. The Mozin app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, which process information under their own privacy policies.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Gridrive.
- Business transfers. If Gridrive is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
Text messaging (SMS)
Mozin offers an optional SMS appointment-reminder feature for businesses that use Mozin. Consent to receive these reminders is obtained directly from the recipient through a secure opt-in page hosted by Mozin: the business shares a personal opt-in link with its customer, and the customer confirms the phone number reminders should go to and checks a consent box that is unchecked by default. The opt-in page identifies Mozin as the sender (sending on behalf of the business), describes the recurring appointment-reminder program, and discloses that message frequency varies (about one to two messages per appointment), that message and data rates may apply, that consent is not a condition of any purchase, and that recipients can reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Mozin records the date and time of consent, the phone number, the exact consent wording shown, and technical details such as IP address, and does not send any text to a customer until this consent has been recorded. We retain this consent record as legal evidence even if the related customer profile is later deleted.
These are transactional appointment reminders sent around the time of a scheduled appointment — typically one to two messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from further reminders, or HELP for assistance.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our SMS provider, is permitted solely to transmit these messages on our behalf. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your mobile phone number and SMS consent are used only to deliver the appointment reminders described above and are processed by our SMS provider, Twilio, for that purpose.
Where your data is stored
The Service is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed on servers located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we remove your business data from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security that isolates each account's data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;

Children's privacy
Mozin is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links and services
The Service may let you reach customers or share invoices through third-party channels such as email, SMS, or messaging apps. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
